About Tjoonz.com

Tjoonz.com is a bass-driven platform for drum and bass, dubstep and house music mp3 downloads. Music from professional and amateur artists alike is gathered and presented here in the three main categories. We hate to put music into boxes, as it’s a matter of opinion, but it sure does make navigating the site a bit easier! We are constantly looking to expand our supply of quality music downloads, so drop us a message if you would like to become part of the team.

Tjoonz.com was first launched in May 2008 by Marc Dingena. During the first few months, the site went through two different designs in rapid succession. We were still trying to figure out which direction we wanted to go, and Tjoonz offered music ranging from techno and house to hardstyle and even some hardcore music.

The 3rd Edition was released just 5 months after the initial launch of the website, using Joomla! as content management system. Tjoonz gradually updated less and less harder styles of music, and stuck to the laid back house music. Between the 3rd and 4th Edition, we started experimenting with WordPress as a publishing platform. We continued tinkering with designs until on the 1st of March 2010, we officially launched the 4th version of Tjoonz.com.

The 4th Edition expanded the current supply of  solely electro, fidget and house music to include dubstep and drum and bass music mp3 downloads as well. The design used was a heavily modified version of Colourise by styleshout.com, which laid the basis of inspiration for the next design.

You are currently viewing the 5th Edition of Tjoonz.com, launched on September 1st, 2010. This unique design is custom made by Marc Dingena. Compared with the previous version, the fifth design is supposed to increase visitor usability and search engine visibility.

Tjoonz.com will continue the search for quality drum and bass, neurofunk, grime, dubstep, glitch-hop, electro, fidget and house music downloads. If it wobbles, we want it!
